AUGUSTA, Ga (CBS12) — Boca Raton resident Bernhard Langer already cherishes his two Masters victories, but making the cut at age 63 could be right up there with his great memories at Augusta National Golf Club.
Langer followed up his first round of 68 with a 73, earning him a change to play the weekend at the unique Masters in November.
In his 37th Masters appearance, Langer becomes the oldest player to ever make the cut at the tournament, breaking Tommy Aaron’s record set back in 2000 by just 33 days. Langer won the Masters in 1985 and 1993.
Watch round three of the Masters on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. on CBS12. The final round starts at 10 a.m. Sunday on CBS12.
